Pre-Qualification Requirements for Contractors

Interested contractors are invited to submit the following pre-qualification documents:

(i)      Verifiable evidence of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission,(ii)     Verifiable evidence of TAX Clearance Certificate for the last Three (3) years with Tax Identification Number boldly indicated on the certificate.(iii)    Evidence of VAT Registration.(iv)    Evidence of PENCOM Registration.(v)     Evidence of audited account of the firm/company’s financial details for the last Three (3) years.(vi)    Verifiable office and workshop address(es); NOT P.O. BOX but should include telephone number(s) of company Director(s).(vii)   Company’s profile and evidence of relevant/similar projects executed.(viii)  Evidence from the company’s bankers as to its financial capability to undertake the project.(ix)    Evidence of Registration with Industrial Training Fund (ITF).(x)     Statement as to completion date of the project. Arrangement of documents (in soft and hard copies) should follow the order in the list above appropriately numbered. Each parcel should have a table of content indicating the pages on which these items are to be found.

Submission of Application                   

All applications for pre-qualification must be delivered in a sealed envelope marked “Application for Pre-qualification” at the top corner of the envelope and should be addressed to the Registrar, Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba on or before 15th June, 2015. Pre-Qualification documents received will be opened at 12.00 noon on the closing date at the Board Room, Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba (Temporary Site).

This invitation for pre-qualification is not an invitation to tender. Only pre-qualified companies/firms will be invited to tender.

Procurement of Non Consultant Services to Provide Hydrographic/Bathymetry Surveys and Geomorphological Study of River Benue Between Dasin Hausa and Lokoja, and Bathymetry Survey of Kiri Dam Reservoir

(1)     The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for providing Hydrographic/Bathymetry Surveys and Geomorphological Study of River Benue Between Dasin Hausa and Lokoja, and Bathymetry Survey of Kiri Dam Reservoir and identification number NEWMAP/FPMU/NCON/ICB/01/15.

Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credit. (2)     The Federal Project Management Unit (FPMU) of the Federal Ministry Environment invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for carrying out Hydrographic/ Bathymetry Surveys and Geomorphological Study of River Benue between Dasin Hausa and Lokoja, and Bathymetry Survey of Kiri Dam Reservoir. (3)     Bidding documents may be purchased at The Federal Project Coordinator, Federal Project Management Unit, Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP), No. 170, Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja, Nigeria for a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira only (N10,000.00), or its equivalent in a freely-convertible currency, for each set. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the same address. (4)     Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 2.5% of the bid price in local currency or its equivalent in a convertible currency, and shall be delivered to the address below on or before 12noon, 11th June, 2015, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend.
