Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A good Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • A Master’s degree in supply chain management, MBA or MSc., Finance would be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in procurement/supply chain management within construction or Out-of-Home advertising industry.
  • Possession of project management (PMP or PRINCE2) and/or supply chain management certification is required.

Contracts and Procurement Manager

Supply Chain – Reports to Procurement and Supply Chain Manager Direct subordinates

Overall purpose of role
:
Be the focal point for all supply chain activities associated with internal corporate functions including but not limited to:
Information Management
Security
Human Resources
Communications
Subsurface

Office Services (Inc. new office requirements):
Manage the Contracting & Procurement interface with Contractors, Suppliers and Consultants and Company in a professional and ethical manner
Ensure that all Contracting and Procurement activities are executed in line with the Company process and procedures
Co-ordinate activities to ensure Contracts and Purchases are delivered to meet required schedules
Ensure Company is not exposed to unnecessary contractual or commercial risk
Ensure utilisation of Company global agreements where necessary
Establishing local Supplier and Call-Off Agreements where necessary Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Develop and implement the contracting strategy for all corporate functions to meet the requirements of the appropriate stakeholders

Minimum qualifications and experience required:

Preference for Degree qualified in business / management or equivalent discipline. Professionally qualified e.g. CIPS

Demonstrable experience of tendering, awarding and managing Contracts and Procurement across a range of Indirect Contract and Purchasing requirements
Developed tender evaluation models & competent negotiator with Tenderers
Developed contracting strategies which have delivered overall value to the business
Managed internal and Contractor relationships at a senior and executive level
