(4) Tenderers are advised to visit and inspect the sites before tendering. For this purpose, tenderers should contact the Director, Planning, Research, and Statistics of the Ministry of Works for guidance.

(8) A Sworn Affidavit indicating whether any officer of the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba or Federal Ministry of health is a former Director, shareholder or have any pecuniary interest in their Company.
(9) All documents relevant for the consideration such as catalogue, brochures and detailed specifications of equipment must be submitted and the country of Origin of the equipment, including the Manufacturer’s addresses e-mails and phone numbers should be submitted.
(a) Prospective Companies that are interested in Supplies of Medical Equipment must be Original Manufacturers of the Medical Equipment or Representatives of Original Manufacturers of the Medical Equipment in line with the approved National Policy for Procurement of Medical/ Hospital Equipment for Tertiary Hospital published by the Bureau of Public Procurement in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health Abuja.
(b) Contractors and Suppliers can indicate interest in more than one Lot and pay the required amount in each Lot tendered for.
(c) Invitation for pre-qualification/ Tender shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of Federal Medical Centre. Asaba to award any form of contract to any company and shall not entitle any company to make claims or seek indemnity from the Centre for having responded to our advertisement. The Centre reserves the right to consider or not to consider any/all of the documents received.
(d) Pre-qualification and Tender documents should be submitted separately in a sealed envelope stating the Lot number and company’s name on the reverse side and both Envelopes should be enclosed in a bigger Envelope.
(e) Only the financial bids of companies who are successful in the pre-qualification will be considered.

The Federal Government of Nigeria on behalf of Oyo State Government has applied for financing from the World Bank toward the cost of 200 Million USD for the Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project (IUFMP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) shall carry out detailed and comprehensive studies and audit in accordance with the World Bank Environmental Safeguard Policies, Federal and State Environmental laws, regulations, acts, policies and guidelines in order to carry out the required activities that will ultimately produce the safeguard required to cope with the intended work and sustainability. The services will include the preparation of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for Eleyele Dam emergency rehabilitation works:
Implementation period for the preparation of the above mentioned service is expected to last three (3) months
The Oyo State Government through Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are:
(a) Experience in the Preparation of ESIA in line with World Bank Environmental Safeguard Policies as required for project implementation. Evidence of recent relevant assignment in the last three (3) years would be an added advantage.
(b) Relevant working experience with international development institutions like the World Bank, as well as familiarity with the community and environment slated for intervention would be an added advantage.
(c) The firm should be able to mobilize qualified and experienced professionals relevant to the assignment.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants (under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants) by World Bank Borrowers (“Consultant Guidelines January 2011”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. Mode of Payment
Successful company is expected to be paid by our bank under the following terms:

(ii) NICON Insurance provide Bank Guarantee in exchange for service.
