 (A)    Introduction

Nigerian Ports Authority hereby invites reputable and competent company to submit bid documents for the Supply of Vacuum System, Oil Suction Truck and Water Tank for the Environmental Department of Nigerian ports Authority.

(B)     Scope of Supply:

The scope shall be to supply recovery equipment that will be used for an effective recovery of spilled oil and washing of oil residues from the sur­faces affected by oil spill.

(C)    Prequalification Requirement

Interested companies should submit three (3) Hard copies (one original and two copies) and a Soft copy of the bound bid documents duly signed, paginated, separated by dividers and arranged in the order out­lined hereunder:

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is desirous of engaging the services of competent companies/contractors to tender for the following:

Supply of Industrial Image/Optical Mark Reader Scanners including add-on training on form decoding and companion program development as well as machine operation and support services (during and post warranty periods)

The scanners should be capable of:

  • Working for a minimum of 24 hours non stop, daily, during peak periods
  • Scanning coloured images/bar codes and double-faced papers simultaneously
  • Scanning up to 9,000 sheets per hour with at least two output buffers (for rejected and accepted sheets respectively)

(2)          Pre-Qualification Criteria and Tender Requirements

Request for Expressions of Interest

This request for expressions of interest follows the general procurement notice for this project titled NG Nigeria-LUTP-II (FY 10) that appeared in dg market publication of July 16, 2010.

The Lagos State Government through the Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) for the Lagos Urban Transport Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this project to cover eligible payments under the contract for the following consultancy services:

Consultancy Services for the follow-up study to the socio-economic baseline and traffic surveys on Mile 12 to Ikorodu town BRT extension

The main objective for this follow-up baseline survey would be to determine the key outcome/impact indicators by which achievement of the project’s development objective (PDO) will be measured in terms of the earlier stated indicators and other relevant indicators as stated under the terms of reference. 

Scope of Work

The Consultant is been engaged to conduct a study, which is a follow-up to the 2012 Socio­economic baseline survey on Mile 12 to Ikorodu town BRT extension. The consultant is to utilize the existing survey tool (socio-economic baseline) for a smaller scale transport users so as to assess the changes and improvements/user satisfaction and problems as the transport interventions are being implemented.

LAMATA now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the above services. Interested consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services. The short listing criteria are (i) evidence showing the fields of speciality of the firm (consultant’s profile/brochures) (ii) evidence showing that the firm is a legal entity (certificate of registration), (iii) evidence of registration with relevant authorities and professional bodies, (iv) Evidence showing the technical and managerial capabilities of the firm in the field of assignment, (v) Description of similar assignments, (vi) availability of appropriate skills among staff, and availability of essential technology etc.). For each project performed the consultant shall provide the name and contact address of the client (office & e-mail address, and telephone number), date(s) of execution, name(s) of lead and associate firms, contract amount and financing sources.

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants (under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants) by World Bank Borrowers January 2011, setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. In addition, please refer to the following specific information on conflict of interest related to this assignment: Bank policy requires that consultants provide professional, objective, and impartial advice and at all times hold the client’s interests paramount, without any consideration for future work, and that in providing advice they avoid conflicts with other assignments and their own corporate interests.

Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub-consultancy to enhance their qualifications. Where firms are associating, the submission must include verifiable evidence of association from all the parties.

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) wishes to invite interested, competent and reputable Printers to participate in the pre-qualification exercise for the printing of annual reports and documenting NERC under its 2015 fiscal year.

Eligibility Criteria for the Pre-Qualification

Interested consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services. The short listing criteria are (i) evidence showing the fields of speciality of the firm (consultant’s profile/brochures) (ii) evidence showing that the firm is a legal entity (certificate of registration), (iii) evidence of registration with relevant authorities and professional bodies, (iv) Evidence showing the technical and managerial capabilities of the firm in the field of assignment, (v) Description of similar assignments, (vi) availability of appropriate skills among staff, and availability of essential technology etc.). For each project performed the consultant shall provide the name and contact address of the client (office & e-mail address, and telephone number), date(s) of execution, name(s) of lead and associate firms, contract amount and financing sources.

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants (under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants) by World Bank Borrowers January 2011, setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. In addition, please refer to the following specific information on conflict of interest related to this assignment: Bank policy requires that consultants provide professional, objective, and impartial advice and at all times hold the client’s interests paramount, without any consideration for future work, and that in providing advice they avoid conflicts with other assignments and their own corporate interests.

Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub-consultancy to enhance their qualifications. Where firms are associating, the submission must include verifiable evidence of association from all the parties.

A consultant will be selected in accordance with the World Bank Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by the World Bank Borrowers, January 2011.

(4.0)  Collection of Bid Documents

Second Floor, Administrative Building, National Mathematical Centre, Kaduna-Lokoja Expressway, Sheda – Kwali, Abuja. on presentation of evidence of payment of a non-refundable processing fee of N25.000.00 (Twenty- Five Thousand Naira) only.

(5.0)  Submission of Bids

Both Technical and Financial Bids must be in separate envelopes and clearly marked appropriately and enclosed in one sealed large envelope and addressed

Save the Children International in Nigeria is inviting submissions of tenders for a contract to provide the services on the production of eight video clips of approximately ten minutes duration each aimed at improving maternal nutrition and infant feeding in emotionally high powered dramatic real life story formats to address the key barriers and use facilitating factors tentatively identified in the program operations research findings. Kindly see Terms of Reference (ToR) for additional information.

The vendor is expected to deliver a proposal, see criteria in TOR. The final

videos for each key message will be on;

  • 2 master copies in MPEG format or AV1 format in Hausa and Kanuri with approved English subtitles and English introductions with English
  • 1 Kanuri and 5 Hausa master copies with approved introductions in the said languages
  • 50 copies of each product (10 video clips) on individual DVDs (50 DVDs total).
  • Signed release forms of those filmed for each video and all photographs taken in the process of producing the videos.
