Qualification Requirements

Interested Companies are expected to possess the following basic requirements:-

(4)     Collection of Tender Documents

Qualified, interested and eligible contractors are to collect tender/bid document in Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, Garki, Abuja upon the presentation of evidence (original receipts) for the payment of non-refundable tender fee of N10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira) only to Federal Government’s Account, details of which can be obtained from the Account Department of Federal Ministry of Information.

(A)    Introduction

In compliance with the Federal Government guidelines on public procurement and award of contracts, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) hereby invites interested and reputable contractors and suppliers with relevant experience and evidence of performance to tender for the projects listed below, under the 2015 Constituency Intervention Projects:

Contractors are free to tender for one or more LOTS on payment of a non-refundable fee of N20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira only) per LOT, by following the Federal Government’s new stipulated guidelines for payment to MDAs (Treasury Single Account).

(B)     Tendering Requirements

Interested and competent contractors wishing to carry out the project should submit the following documents:

(i)      Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);

(ii)     Certificate of Incorporation and Articles of Association;

(iii)    Evidence of Tax Clearance for the past three (3) years (2014, 2013 & 2012);

(iv)    Value Added Tax (VAT) Registration Certificate;

(v)     Company’s audited financial account and funding information over the past three years, endorsed by a firm of chartered accountants;

(vi)    Company Profile detailing experience/technical qualification of key staff;

(vii)   Evidence of having successfully executed a similar project in the past;

(viii)  Evidence of financial capabilities/bank support;

(ix)    Evidence of compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) regulations;

(x)     Evidence of compliance with the Pension Reform Act 2004 (as amended);

(xi)    Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Bid Opening;

(xii)   Affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of NEMA is a former or present director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particular;

(C)    Collection of Tender Documents

To collect Bid documents, a prospective bidder is required to purchase the Bid documents from the Procurement Unit NEMA Head Quarters Office after payment of non-refundable fee of N20, 000.00.

West Africa Food Markets Programme (WAFM) 

Request for Expressions of Interest

(Agribusiness Advisory Services /Consulting)

Background

The West Africa Food Markets programme (WAFM) is a five-year DIFD-funded initiative implemented by The Palladium Group in association with Carana Corporation, KPMG, and Saana Consulting. The objective is to contribute to increasing the availability of staple foods and purchasing power of farmers in food-insecure regions of the Sahel (Burkina Faso – Ghana and Niger – Nigeria corridors) as well as to improve their resilience to periodic shocks of hunger and malnutrition during the poor harvest seasons. This objective is being achieved through a challenge fund targeting production and productivity enhancement, increasing processing capacity and services, application of sustainable ICT solutions in production and marketing and increasing cross border marketing and distribution. The challenge seeks to catalyst additional investments in the growth and expansion of cassava, maize, millet, and sorghum markets thereby lowering seasonal price volatility in these value chains. The strategy of the Challenge Fund is to incentivise businesses to launch pro-poor innovative projects to increase staple food production, processing and marketing and enhance cross-border trade. The Funds aims to identify and co-invest in innovations that will not only expand their own businesses, but also strengthen smallholder supplier networks, national and regional markets. The Fund concluded its first funding round and has recently launched the second round.

The purpose of this call for EOI is to create a network of agribusiness management and development consultants to serve as first point of call in delivering pre and post investment technical assistance to successful grantees across the four countries.

Technical and Consultancy services will be needed in the following areas:

  • Agribusiness and processing
  • Agricultural services including extension
  • Smallholder supply network development
  • Finance and financial management

Agribusiness planning and modelling

ICT & farmer based technology solutions

  • Storage, warehousing and marketing

(1.0) Instructions to Tenderers

The Integrated Data Services Limited, a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) intends to execute the project for the Provision of Training on Marine Seismic Data Acquisition. This advertisement seeks for the Expression of Interest (EOI) from experienced and reputable companies.

(1.0)    Scope of Work

The scope of work for the project includes, but not limited to the following:

(1)       Provision of a full complement of Marine Seismic Data Acquisition Vessel and Associated System Facilities (Air Gun Array and Compressor Unit) for a two, sail-tour duration.

Request for Expressions of Interest

 The MTN Nigeria Foundation Limited by Guarantee (MTNF Ltd/Gte) was established by MTN Nigeria Communications Limited in July 2004 to drive MTN Nigeria’s Corporate Social investment (CSI) initiatives aimed at improving the quality of lives in communities across the country.

Project Description and Location

The MTNF Hearing Aid Support Project (MTNF-HASP) is aimed at provid­ing hearing aids to 1,500 hearing impaired persons (i.e. Hard of Hearing (HoH) persons and Deaf Children between 6 months & 5 years old) in 6 States in Nigeria, thereby contributing to the inclusion of the hearing impaired people into the society and enhancing their participation in social and economic activities.

Application for the pilot phase of this project is now open and hearing aids will be available to 1,500 hearing impaired persons drawn from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Benue, Katsina & Lagos States.

Project Objectives

The project seeks to support hearing impaired persons by providing hearing aids to 1,500 persons in six states (one state per geo-political zone) across the country to enhance their inclusion in the society.

Deserving beneficiaries will be selected following completion of the Hearing Assessment forms and hearing tests to establish level and type of hearing impairment.

Method of Application

  • Interested Hard of Hearing persons and the parents and guardians of Deaf Children between 6 months & 5 years old from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Benue, Katsina & Lagos States are required to collect the Hearing Assessment form at any of the locations listed below:
  • State Ministry of Women Affairs In the beneficiary states;
  • Office of the Local Government Chairperson in the beneficiary states;
  • Ear Nose & Throat (ENT) departments of Federal Medical Centre and the University Teaching/General Hospital in each beneficiary state

General Instructions;

Application commences on Monday, November 30th , 2015 and will close on Sunday, December 20, 2015

Interested hearing impaired persons must complete the Hearing Asessment form and submit at the organisation of point of collection listed above

Incomplete and late application form will not be accepted

Upon receipt of completed Hearing Assessment form, the project consultant International Centre for Prevention of Deafness and Rehabilitation of Hearing Impaired Persons (ICPDRHIP) will collate all applications and schedule applicants for Hearing Test at a location to be communicated via SMS to the telephone number provided by the applicantShortlisted applicants will be required to submit two (2) passport photographs, required for identification purposes.

The beneficiary states for this pilot phase are: Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Benue, Katsina & Lagos.

(v)     Evidence of issuance of Compliance Certificate to all Organizations by PENCOM and remittances in line with Pension Reform Act 2004 (as amended),

(vi)    Evidence of compliance with relevant provisions of the amended Industrial Training Fund Act, 2011;

(vii)   Certified True Copy of the Company’ Registration as an insurer issued by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), recently certified by the Commission;

(viii)  Evidence of certification with relevant provisions of the NSITF Act; and

(ix)     Evidence of Reg. with BBPP.

(3.0)  Other Requirements

(i)      Detailed Company’s Profile evidencing its core business and years of experience;

(ii)     Verifiable list of similar assignment successfully executed in the last 4 years including letters of appointment and completion certificates from reputable organizations;

(iii)    Evidence of key personnel available for the assignments including academic qualification should be attach:

(iv)    NAICOM’s approved annual returns and accounts for the underwriting year ending 31stDecember.2014;

(v)     Verifiable office address in all the geopolitical zones of the country and Abuja;

(vi)    A Sworn affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of FME or BPP is a former or present Director ,shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particular; and

(vii)   Any other information that may show the Consultant’s ability to carry-out the assignment satisfactorily,

(4.0)  Submission of Expression of Interest

(4.1)  The Proposal shall be submitted in sealed tempered proof envelope and labeled “(Expression of interest) for the Consultancy Services for the Appointment of Insurance Company for the provision of insurance cover for assets of federal Government Colleges across the country,at the top right hand corner of the envelope. The name of the company should also be written at the reverse side of the envelope and addressed to:

(1.0)  Introduction

The federal Government of Nigeria has provided funds in the 2015 Appropriation for the federal Ministry of Education (FME) for the Provision of Insurance Cover for Assets of Federal Government Colleges. The Ministry hereby requests for Expression of interest (EOI) from registered Insurance Companies for the provision of insurance cover for assets of Federal Government Colleges across the country.

(2.0)  Mandatory Requirements

(2.1)  Interest Insurance Brokers must provide the following documents to satisfy the minimum preliminaries Examination Requirements:

(i)      Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) recently certified by CAC;

(ii)     Evidence of Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years ending in December, 2015;

(iii)    Published Annual Reports and Accounts approved and recently certified by the National Insurance Commission for the last 3 financial years-2012,2013 & 2014;

(iv)    Evidence of VAT registration with TIN No.

(v)     Evidence of issuance of Compliance Certificate to all Organizations by PENCOM and remittances in line with Pension Reform Act 2004 (as amended);
