(2.0) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Interested prospective bidders are required to submit the following documents and would serve as basis for consideration:
(1) A comprehensive company profile with CVs of key officers and their Technical Qualifications and registrations with relevant professional bodies.
(2) Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
(3) Evidence of Registration and Certificate with Industrial Training Fund (I.T.F).
(4) Current three (3) years Tax Clearance Certificate ending December, 2016.
(5) Evidence of VAT payment (VAT Certificate and TIN No).
(6) Evidence of Financial Capability to execute the projects from a reputable bank.
(7) Certificate of current Pension Commission (PENCOM) and remittals to all organisations by National Pension Commission in line with Pension Reform Act 2004 (as amended).
(8) Evidence of National Social Industrial Training Fund (NSITF)
(9) Evidence of qualified technical and professional staff.
(10) Sworn Affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of FGGC, Bida has any pecuniary interest in the company and that information presented in its bids are true.
(11) Evidence of Registration with the Bureau of Public Procurement (B.P.P.)
(12) Evidence of letters of award and Job Completion Certificates of previous experiences in similar job(s) at least in the last three years.
(13) Evidence of payment of non-refundable tender fee of N20,000
(14) Bidders shall not bid for more than two slots.
(15) Any other relevant information that will be helpful in determining the company’s suitability for the work.
(3.0) COLLECTION OF TENDERS DOCUMENTS

(4.0) BIDS SUBMISSION
Completed Technical and Financial Bids should be submitted in two different sealed envelopes and labeled “Technical Bid” and “Financial Bid” respectively, with the Company’s name indicated at the back of the envelope. The two large envelopes should be marked “Technical” and “Financial” and addressed: The Secretary, School Tender Board, FGGC, Bida. The envelopes should be duly marked “Category/Lot No……. ” Technical or Financial on the top right hand corner.
The Bids should be dropped in the Tender Box at the Office of V.P. Special Duties, FGGC Bida. Bidders are to ensure that they sign the submission register.
(5.0) CLOSING DATE
All documents must be submitted on or before 12 noon, on 1st September 2016
(6.0) BIDS OPENING
Opening of the secured documents would commence immediately, following the closing time stated above, at the Conference Room of the school. All contractors or their representatives, relevant professional bodies, CSOs and NGOs are invited to witness the public opening exercise accordingly.
(7.0) PLEASE NOTE THAT
A post review of procurement may be carried out where contractors may be required to present the original copies of their CAC, PENCOM, TAX, ITF certificates and may thereafter refer any/all to the relevant Security Agencies and organisations for verifications. (10) Evidence of financial capability. A bank reference indicating readiness to finance the project if the applicant’s pre-qualification is successful its well as audited accounts for the last (3) three years.
(11) An affidavit disclosing whether or not any Officer of this College’s relevant committee on procurement is a former or present Director, Shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the applicant Company.
(12) Relevant information concerning contacts, eg. Telephone numbers, fax, e-mail, etc.
(C) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This invitation is not to tender but for a pre-qualification exercise of which, only successful applicants will be short listed and invited to tender. The College shall not bear the cost of preparation of applicants or any other cost(s) related to application for pre-qualification.

(4) OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
(i) Company Audited Account for the last 3 years (2015, 2014 & 2013) by qualified Auditor and showing annual turnover. The Reporting Auditor shall submit Certificate of Registration with Financial Reporting Council (FRC).
(ii) Company Profile and Technical qualifications of key personnel with evidence of experience of similar jobs; Evidence of Registration with Relevant Professional Bodies (including Architects, Civil Engineers, Builder and Quantity Surveyors etc.) is mandatory for construction works; (submit with CY and copy of certificates).
(iii) Verifiable List of similar jobs successfully executed in the last 3 years including Letters of Award of Contracts; Valuation Certifications and Job Completion Certificates (please provide the contact addresses of the Clients).
(iv) Evidence of Financial Capability from a reputable Bank to execute the Projects (Evidence of Bank Support for the Projects if awarded will form part of the evaluation criteria);
(v) Company Letter authorizing the Federal Ministry of Environment (FME) to verify all documents submitted for the projects with Relevant Agencies.
(vi) Evidence of Firm’s Registration with Professional Bodies. (For Category C only)
(vii) The Minimum Turnover required for each project is as specified in the Bidding Documents.
(ix) All Financial Bids of N300Million Naira and above for Works and 100Million Naira and above for Goods shall be accompanied with 2% Bid Security from a Nigerian Commercial Bank.
(5) COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS:
Tender documents for Goods, Works and Request for Proposal (RFP) are to be obtained from the Procurement Department, Room B301, on the presentation of a copy of the original Treasury Receipts of non-refundable Tender Fee of Twenty thousand (N20,000.00) Naira only paid into the Federation Account via any Bank in the country with account details;
