Background
MAFTTA is a 6-year DFID-funded programme working in Nigeria’s northern states, with a vision to empower marginalized youths and women through provision of increased economic opportunities and social inclusion. It is working in 3 Northern Nigerian states, including Kano, where the apprenticeship system will be used to train beneficiaries in various trade areas. The project is looking to engage a supplier who will be responsible for overall for printing of learning materials as follows:

TENDER NOTICE: RENTAL VEHICLES FOR GLOBAL FUND LONG LASTING INSECTICIDAL NET (LLIN) MASS CAMPAIGN DISTRIBUTION

CRS was founded in 1943 by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to assist the poor and disadvantaged overseas. One of the world’s largest private voluntary organizations, CRS supports international relief and development work in more than 100 countries and territories around the world. CRS assists individuals on the basis of need, regardless of creed, ethnicity, nationality or sex.
IN FY 17, CRS will be carry out Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLIN) Mass Campaign activities in six states in Nigeria; namely Kwara, Edo, Imo, Ondo, Osun and Adamawa. LLIN Mass Campaign basically is the distribution of LLIN to households across the six states mentioned above. There are various activities leading to the Mass campaign, and various beneficiaries (also referred to here as Implemented) will be engaged at different levels (State, LGA and Ward levels), to deliver services required to support the process.
CRS requires the service of a reputable Rental Vehicle Supplier to provide vehicles to work in 6 states (all LGAs in each state) and these vehicles will be used to travel from state capital to the LGAs and back to state capital and transport training materials for the activities during the LLIN distribution campaign; The tender documents are available via e-mail from 23rd to 30th March 2017 (Monday to Friday) during office hours. Requests for tender documents should be submitted on a company letterhead signed by Director/Manager of the company, scanned and emailed to tenders.ngr@crs.org with “Request for Tender Documents: CRS-GFNG-RVF.H- 2017-02” in the subject line. OYO STATE GOVERNMENT MINISTRY OF WORKS AND TRANSPORT
INVITATION FOR BIDS

1.0 The Oyo State Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria herein after called “The Employee” intends to carry out: Dualization of Idi Ape—Basorun-Akobo-Odogbo-Barracks Road in Ibadan (7.0km)
2.0 The works involve the upgrading of the existing road to a dual carriageway standard with raised median of 1.2m width, reinforced concrete lined drain and walkways on both sides, overhead bridge and the provision of hydraulic structures including streetlighting. The pavement consists of 200mm lateritic sub-base, 200mm thick crushed stone base and two layers of 50mm and 40mm thick asphaltic concrete binder course and wearing course respectively;
3.0 The Employer hereby invites sealed bids from contractors for the above works. Bidding is open to all reputable Civil Engineering construction companies registered with the Oyo State Ministry of Works and Transport in Category “F” (Civil Engineering) or the Oyo State Bureau of Public Procurement Category “E”.
4.0 However, there is need to state that the roads had earlier been advertised and awarded by the State Government but due to non-responsiveness of the bid winner the Government considers it imperative for due diligence to re-advertise to enable new bidders participate in the exercise.
5.0 BID REQUIREMENTS
Interested contractors are to submit the following documents:
(i) Evidence of registration with Oyo State Bureau of Public Procurement OR Ministry of Works and Transport in relevant category
(ii) Evidence of the company registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission
(iii) Evidence of payment of personal Income Tax by at least two (2) Directors of the Company
(iv) Evidence of payment of pre-qualification or bidding fees
(v) Evidence of successful completion of similar projects in the past (letters of award of contracts and certificates of completion)
