The Kaduna State Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in its drive to boost agricultural infrastructure in the State is desirous to protect its plantation units at Afaka, Ribako and Nimbia.
In pursuance of this mandate, the Ministry is hereby inviting competent companies and/or individuals to submit to apply for the following works.
1.0 Scope of Works:
Lot 1: Brushing and Roadside Clearing, Coppice Reduction and Singling to Standard.
Lot 2: Mechanical Weeding and Fire Tracing.
2.0 Pre-Qualification Requirements.
The Ministry wishes to invite all interested corporate firms and/or individuals, to submit the following:
i. Certified Bank Draft of N50,000.00 made payable to the Kaduna State Government for each lot applied for.
ii. Certificate of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (for corporate persons).
iii. Form CAC 2 (Shareholders) and CAC 7 (Particulars of Directors) of the company.
iv. Evidence of current Tax Clearance Certificates for 2014, 2015, 2016.
v. Evidence of Tax Identification Number (TIN).
vi. Current Certificate of Registration with Kaduna State Public Procurement Authority (former Tenders Board).
vii. Current Registration of Business Premises with Kaduna State Ministry of Commerce, industry and Tourism.
viii. Evidence of Registration with FIRS, KADIRS, VAT and remittances.
ix. A comprehensive profile of the applicant.
x. Current Audited Account of the Company (corporate) for 2014, 2015, 2016.
xi. Name and address of at least three (3) previous Clients who could be contacted for references.

3.0 Collection of Bid Documents

(4) In case of Joint Ventures, the company shall provide evidence of the Joint Venture Agreement executed by all parties in the Joint Venture.

All expenses incurred in preparing “Invitation to Tender” response and all expenses otherwise associated with “Invitation to Tender” responses shall be borne solely by the prospective contractor.
